Home learning for Rainbows and Sunflowers 

For our EYFS classes, Rainbows and Sunflowers, home learning will be a mixture of paper based materials and videos as well as links to helpful resources and materials online.

If you have to go in to isolation, or if our Reception class closes, Mrs Gabbitas will post details of the daily learning programme on the Class Dojo pages. This means that the vast majority of families can access these details through their mobile phone. 

You have been used to using the Phonics videos posted daily for homework. These will continue and will be supplemented with key numeracy work, a class story video and topic related items. 

In addition to this, our team here have been carrying out individual home reading using Zoom or Microsoft Teams. This allows us to assess how well your child is applying the daily phonics lessons taught each school day. Many children enjoy this additional social contact with their teacher.
